INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS

One of the toughest tasks assigned to managers and team leaders is discipline.  They are required to be consistent and deal with their staff fairly and with respect.  Being consistent is probably the greatest challenge but the one that can derail a matter in a flash.

Issuing warnings or taking an employee to a disciplinary enquiry requires skill.

Our training focusses on equipping these leaders and generally includes:

  • Understanding their role in the process
  • Rights and responsibilities
  • What the law says
  • Practical application in warnings and hearings
  • What happens next (CCMA or Bargaining Council)
