ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Modern organisations must constantly evolve to ensure they remain on top of their game.  New technology, different ways of working or even how the organisation is structured can be part of this development process.  No matter what changes are required, it is critical that the changes meet the needs of the organisation’s strategy and business goals.  Sound organisational development principles allows for a full review of the business needs while also evaluating the impact that changes will have on the eco-system.

Change is generally not comfortable, and employees often feel that there are risks to them personally when the changes are rolled out.  It is therefore critical that any OD projects include sound change management, leadership development and training principles to ensure that all the work is not lost due to lack of commitment.

A generally accepted response to change is defined in the Kubler-Ross change curve as explained by this diagram:

Having worked on numerous OD project from small to large and within a variety of organisations and industries, we are able to assist executives and other leaders to make a success of their efforts to ensure the organisation design is sound and that changes is managed effectively.

“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” – Albert Einstein
